The everyday reality

Every Bahamian faces
these two problems.

You either leave your documents home and risk not having them — or you save photos on your phone and risk losing everything.

1
Problem One
You left your documents home to keep them safe.

Your passport and NIB are too important to carry every day. So you leave them home. But then you get pulled over. Or you show up at a government office. And you don't have what they need.

"Officer, I didn't bring my ID — it's at home."
2
Problem Two
You saved photos on your phone — then lost your phone.

You took photos of your passport and NIB so you'd have them handy. Smart. But now someone found your phone. Or your phone broke. Or it got stolen. And your document photos went with it.

"My passport photo was on my phone. Now it's gone."
The Anchor difference · 01
Always on your device, always encrypted.

Your documents are encrypted on your phone before anything touches our servers. We never see them. Only your biometrics unlock them. Take your phone to any stop — you have everything.

The Anchor difference · 02
If you lose your phone, your documents don't disappear.

Your 2–3 guardians can help you recover access on a new device. The documents themselves are encrypted — even if someone finds your old phone, they can't see anything without your biometrics.

The Anchor difference · 03
Open the app. Scan your face. Done.

No passwords. No PIN codes. No explaining yourself. Face ID or Touch ID opens your vault in seconds. Pull over at 2am with no documents at home — Anchor has you covered.

Setup in minutes

Three steps.
You're protected.

No complicated setup. No accounts to verify. No documents to submit to us. Just your phone, your face, and your documents — encrypted and ready.

Important note

Anchor doesn't replace your physical documents. It's a secure copy you always have access to — so you're never caught without them.

No banks · No government integration · No credential issuing

01
Store your passport & NIB

Take a photo or upload your passport and NIB. Anchor encrypts them on your device using XSalsa20-Poly1305 encryption — the document data is scrambled before it ever touches our servers. We only see encrypted noise. Your Argon2id key, derived from your biometrics, is the only thing that can unscramble it.

02
Set up Face ID or Touch ID

No passwords. Anchor uses WebAuthn/FIDO2 passkey authentication — the same technology used by banks and Apple Pay. Your biometrics never leave your device. You can also add a hardware security key as a backup. Phishing-resistant by design.

03
Add 2–3 trusted guardians

Pick 2–3 people you trust — family, a close friend, a colleague. They become your recovery network. If you ever lose your phone, 2 of your 3 guardians can help you unlock your vault on a new device. They can never see your documents — only confirm your identity to unlock recovery.

How we protect you

We can't see your documents.
That's by design.

Zero-knowledge means we built the system so it's mathematically impossible for us to read your documents — even if someone forced us to. Your device holds the only key.

🔐
Zero-Knowledge Vault

Your documents are encrypted on your device before upload. The server receives only ciphertext — encrypted data that looks like random noise without your key.

  • XSalsa20-Poly1305 encryption per document
  • Argon2id key derivation from your biometrics
  • Envelope encryption — unique key per document
  • We never hold your decryption key

Passport & NIB Only

No feature creep. No credential issuing. No bank integration. Just your two most important Bahamian documents — stored safely and shown when you need them.

  • Passport and NIB document types
  • Encrypted on your device before upload
  • Works offline — no connection needed to view
  • No government or bank integration
👆
Passkey Authentication

Passwordless login using WebAuthn/FIDO2 — the same standard used by Apple, Google, and Microsoft. Your biometric stays on your device. Nobody intercepts a password that doesn't exist.

  • Face ID and Touch ID support
  • Hardware security key backup
  • Phishing-resistant by design
  • FIDO2 / WebAuthn standard
📋
Full Audit Trail

Every operation is logged with a timestamp. Who accessed the vault. When documents were added. Guardian recovery events. Full transparency — because your documents are too important for black boxes.

  • Immutable operation history
  • Activity notifications
  • Heartbeat monitoring
  • Legal-grade timestamps
If you lose your device

Your guardians
have your back.

Losing your phone doesn't mean losing your documents. You choose 2–3 people you trust as guardians. If you ever need to recover on a new device, any 2 of your guardians can authorize the transfer. They never see your documents — they just confirm it's really you.

👥
You choose who
A parent. A sibling. A close friend. Anyone you trust with your recovery — not your documents.
🔢
2 of 3 threshold
You need any 2 out of 3 guardians to confirm recovery. So if one isn't reachable, you're still covered.
🔒
Guardians can never see your documents
The encryption means even your trusted guardians only see a recovery request — never your passport or NIB images.

The plain truth

We built it so we
literally can't read
your documents.

Zero-knowledge isn't just a slogan. It's a specific architectural decision: the encryption key is derived from your biometrics and never sent to our servers. Without that key, everything stored with us is meaningless noise.

Even if someone hacked our servers, they would find only encrypted data they cannot read.

ZERO-KNOWLEDGE ARCHITECTURE · CLIENT-SIDE ENCRYPTION ONLY
📱
Your phone encrypts first
The encryption happens on your device before data is sent anywhere. Anchor's servers receive ciphertext only.
🔑
Your biometrics hold the key
The decryption key is derived from your Face ID or Touch ID using Argon2id. It never leaves your device.
☁️
We store encrypted noise
Without your key, what we store looks like random data. We can't read it. We can't give it to anyone in readable form.
📵
Works offline too
Your documents are cached locally and encrypted. Open Anchor with no internet — your documents are still there.
Ready when you are

Your documents.
Always with you.

Store your Bahamian passport and NIB securely. Open with your face. No passwords. No fear of losing your phone. Your guardians have your back.
